律藏怎麼判幫人墮胎的比丘？
律藏在殺人戒下記了幾個判例：有比丘幫人墮胎，有比丘只是出主意。判例按意圖和結果分級。每一案都沒有問懷孕幾週。

一位女子請比丘幫她墮胎，比丘幫了，胎兒死：波羅夷（逐出僧團，與殺人同條）。另一案，母親死、胎兒沒死：不是波羅夷，是重罪。又一案，比丘只說「那就壓它」，她照做而墮：波羅夷。
“Venerable, please help me have an abortion.” “Alright,” he said, and he helped her have an abortion. The child died. … “You have committed an offense entailing expulsion.” … The mother died, but the child did not die. … “There’s no offense entailing expulsion, but there’s a serious offense.” … “Well then, crush it,” he said.
